This little red dragon appears only around the time of Yule. Yule, also known as midwinter, is the time of year when the days are shortest. From Yule (around December 21), the days start to grow longer again, and we are able to welcome the light back. This tiny dragon sits impatiently on the lookout, waiting for that promised light. The illustration is accented with green leaves and holly. The green of this natural decoration symbolizes inviting the light to return.
As long as the light has not yet returned, this dragon will watch over you. After that, it goes into a deep sleep until the next dark period begins.
Affirmation: “Even in the darkest moments, I know the light will always return.”
